There are two types of three-way ball valves: T-type and L-type. The T-type can interconnect three orthogonal pipes and cut off the third channel, which plays a role in diversion and confluence. The L-type three-way ball valve can only connect two orthogonal pipes, and cannot keep the third pipe connected at the same time, so it only plays a distribution role.
The three-way ball valve is easy to operate and open and close quickly. It only needs to rotate 90° from full open to full closed. The ball valve has a simple structure, convenient maintenance, and convenient disassembly and replacement of the sealing ring. When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surface of the ball and the valve seat is isolated from the medium. When the medium passes through, it will not cause erosion and wear on the valve sealing surface. Since the ball valve has a wiping property during the opening and closing process, it can be used in media with suspended solid particles.
In order to ensure the sealing at the valve stem, a stuffing box and a gland are added to the valve body for sealing.
The three-way ball valve can choose various piping flange standards and flange sealing surface types. The transmission mode can be selected from manual, worm gear drive, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic and other drive modes, which are convenient for long-distance control and meet the different needs of users.
