Application range

Angle Globe valve is a commonly used shutoff valve, mainly used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline, and is generally not used to adjust the flow. The stop valve product is applicable to a wide range of pressure and temperature, but is generally used for medium and small diameter pipelines, and is suitable for steam, oil, water and other media≤425℃.

The opening and closing parts of the angleGlobe valve (ordinary type) are plug-shaped valve discs, and the sealing surface is flat or conical. The valve disc moves linearly along the center line of the fluid. The movement of the valve stem can be either a lifting rod type (the valve stem rises and falls, and the handwheel does not rise and fall), or a lifting and rotating rod type (the handwheel and the valve stem rotate and rise and fall together, and the nut is set on the valve body). TheGlobe valve is only suitable for full opening and full closing, and adjustment and throttling are not allowed.

TheGlobe valve is a forced sealing valve, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface to prevent leakage. When the medium enters valve six from below the valve disc, the resistance that the operating force needs to overcome is the friction between the valve stem and the packing and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force to close the valve is greater than the force to open the valve, so the diameter of the valve stem must be large, otherwise the valve stem will bend. In recent years, since the emergence of self-sealing valves, the medium flow direction of the stop valve has changed to enter the valve cavity from above the valve disc. At this time, under the action of the medium pressure, the force to close the valve is small, while the force to open the valve is large, and the diameter of the valve stem can be reduced accordingly. At the same time, under the action of the medium, this type of valve is also more tight. my country's valve "three-in-one" has stipulated that the flow direction of the stop valve should be from top to bottom.

When the angleGlobe valve (ordinary type) is opened, when the opening height of the valve disc is 25% to 30% of the nominal diameter, the flow rate has reached a maximum, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. Therefore, the fully open position of the stop valve should be determined by the stroke of the valve disc.

The thermal insulationGlobe valve is a forced sealing valve, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface to not leak. When the medium enters valve 6 from below the valve disc, the resistance that the operating force needs to overcome is the friction between the valve stem and the packing and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force to close the valve is greater than the force to open the valve, so the diameter of the valve stem should be larger, otherwise the valve stem will bend.
