Liquefied natural gas is easier to transport and store than gaseous natural gas. Petroleum gas is pressurized at room temperature to become liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and natural gas is liquefied at low temperature (as low as -160°C) to become liquefied natural gas (LNG). Cryogenic valves are valves used in polar climates or in environments where the gas is exposed to rapid decompression. Such valves are usually designed to be able to operate normally under freezing conditions. Ultra-cryogenic valves are usually used in liquefied gas conditions, such as LNG, which need to operate at extremely low temperatures. Double-seat ultra-cryogenic valves [ ] require a special valve seat design to ensure that the middle cavity can be depressurized and that the downstream sealing performance is good.
